In this class, you will learn one of the most basic beaded jewelry techniques....stringing! You'll begin by learning to use a design board to lay out your design and determine the correct length. Next, you will learn how to properly crimp the ends onto a clasp.
I will supply the tools, stringing wire, design boards and a wide selection of stone beads and pendants. Pictures included are to show you the possibilities of what you can make but bead and pendant selection will vary. I'll be bringing more beads than are represented in the photos. I'll bring a selection of quartz, jasper, onyx, amethyst, jade, magnesite, obsidian, sodalite, tiger eye, and more stones along with small spacer beads. I will also supply a sterling silver lobster clasp.
Each person taking the class will register individually and make one necklace measuring 16"-22".
This post is a sample class for hosts to view class options. If you are interested, please email me at sgray@junemoonjewelry.net to coordinate a date, time and location. After that is completed, I will post your class open for registration.
Class fee is $50 per person. Minimum of 6 participants are required for private parties paid one month in advance of class date.
