Windchime Workshop at Western Red Brewing on April 13th at 1 PM
Windchime Workshop at Western Red Brewing on April 13th at 1 PM
Using driftwood 5-10 inches long, beads, shells, charms and other found objects we'll be creating a three strand windchime/suncatcher. I will supply you a plethora of bead choices with various sizes, shapes, colors and materials (wood, stone, shell, glass, etc). You will be able to choose your driftwood, cord color, beads, shells and charms. Pictures are examples to help you get ideas, current supply inventory varies.
Some materials may not be suitable for the outdoors but would be spectacular indoors as a suncatcher! Many of my beads have an iridescent coating on them so when the light hits them you'll have a prismatic effect in your home (both humans and pets like that;).
Skills needed: ability to use a tweezers, thread beads on and tie knots in skinny cord and think outside the box! I'll have sample windchimes and advice to help you design your piece.
If you have a special object that you would like to include in your windchime, you are welcome to bring it. It needs to have a hole.
Location: Western Red Brewing: 19168 Jensen Way NE Poulsbo, WA 98370 on April 13th at 1 PM. Class is 2 hours long. This class is for ages 12+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult that is also registered for the class. Your class registration includes your first beverage! Cheers!
What to wear: Avoid loose long sleeves. Most importantly, don't forget your glasses! (Even if you don't think you'll need them, bring them anyway;)
Cancellation Policy: After you place your order, you will receive a notification that your order was "fulfilled". This is confirmation of your place in the class. Should you need to cancel, please contact me. I will refund cancellations that are requested 24 hours prior to your class start time or give you a credit towards another class. If the class minimum of 6 people isn’t reached, I will notify you and refund your registration fee.
Note: driftwood and shells have been ethically collected from legally approved beaches.
